Job Summary:

The Human Resources Assistant serves as a link between the Human Resources Manager and employees.


  • Maintain current HR files and databases
  • Assist in conducting benefit enrollment process and benefit documentation
  • Process payroll, which include ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the system  
  • Setting appointments and arranging meetings
  • Maintaining calendars of HR management team
  • Participating in recruitment efforts
  • Posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications
  • Scheduling job interviews and assisting in interview process
  • Collecting employment and tax information
  • Preparing new employee files
  • Updating and maintaining records related to employment status, performance reviews and disciplinary actions

  • Must be able to solve problems, and able to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Communicate clearly
  • Must maintain a respectful and professional approach to answering employees questions
  • Must be able to effectively read and interpret information
  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
  • Must follow and enforce all company policies including safety rules and company standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently


  • High School Diploma and or 1+ year in Human Resources
  • Certificate in Human Resources or undergoing courses
